Summertime is Here!!

Summertime has quickly approached and we have lots of fun stuff planned here at Four Leaf. Between upcoming beers and festivals and fun we hope to ring it all in the right way! Starting with beers, We have a new IPA hitting the taps on June 4th at our first annual Brewer's Bash! Time flies when you're having fun and it doesn't feel like its been a year since I hit the ground running here at Four Leaf! Its been an awesome year, and what better way to celebrate than to release a new IPA and pair it with some good ol low n slow pit style barbecue!!! For those of you that don't know, in addition to brewing here at Four Leaf, I am also in the pursuit of my other passion which is Barbecue! I have a Barbecue concession trailer (Maxon's Blue Country Barbecue) that despite setbacks, I hope to have fully up and running this summer. I will be slow cooking some awesome pulled pork to pair with the JackPine IPA.

Brewers Bash

The Jackpine IPA is Quadruple Hopped and Double Doctored! It was guest brewed by local Brian David and Scott Moore who purchased the brewing opportunity at the annual Clare Sports Booster fundraiser. This beer contains continuous hopping of two different varieties of hops which lend to its piney overtones, long finish and appreciation for 80's hair metal! A fun loving 7.0% ABV and 80 IBU makes the JackPine IPA a reasonable choice for a bolder IPA that won't leave you on the floor like Todd Superpipe Jurgens (follow on twitter @superpipejurgens) or possibly Chris Zinser. So crank out the Van Halen, and if you must, some Tesla and enjoy just what the doctors' ordered.

For $15 you will get a pulled pork combo, a pint of JackPine and a chance to win two VIP tickets to the Mt. Pleasant Craft Beer Festival. There will also be Live Music performed by Larry McCray starting at 3pm.

Also upcoming this summer we will have the return of Liberty Road Cream Ale, Golden Horizon Witbier, Hoppy Cop Doughnut Collaboration Brown Ale, Coffee Blonde Ale, and the new releases of a Pilsner Style Beer and a jacked up Cascadian Dark Ale (Black IPA) to commemorate the 100th batch of beer brewed here at Four Leaf! It is going to be a fun filled exciting summer! Check out the website for other upcoming events and don't forget about Trivia Wednesdays! They have been a blast and are here to stay starting June 7th!!

Stay tuned on July 11th to see how well our beers do at the 2017 U.S. Open Beer Championships! We hope to gain some medal for our beers we know you love! We sent off five beers for judging:

-Ol Blighty English Mild

-Lady Luck Cherry Wheat

-Bog Jumper Irish Red

-Godie's Hop Bomb &

-OverBooked Belgian Tripel

See you all in and around the TapRoom!! CHEERS!

-Doug
